The You Yangs, not far from the western outskirts of Melbourne, is one of those delightful places that’s surprisingly close to the city and yet at times can feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Full of insect and bird life, not to mention koalas, wallabies, and echidnas, it’s a great way of getting back to nature without a lot of effort.
